A Dreamy Southern Wedding at St. Anthony Chapel & The Blue Magnolia

A Dreamy Southern Wedding at St. Anthony Chapel & The Blue Magnolia

Megan and William's wedding was a beautiful celebration of classic style, soft romance, and intentional design. Set between the elegant St. Anthony Chapel and the charming Blue Magnolia venue in Spring, Texas, the day unfolded with thoughtful details and a floral palette that felt fresh, soft, and timeless.

For her bridal bouquet, Megan envisioned something lush and all floral, intentionally steering away from greenery to keep the look clean and full. The bouquet was crafted in a traditional, hand-tied shape and featured layers of garden roses, David Austin roses, sweet pea, ranunculus, stock, and Queen Anne’s lace, all in soft white tones. The final result was airy but structured, finished with ivory silk ribbon and tailored to complement both her gown and the overall setting. A second bouquet was created for her bridal portraits earlier in the season, allowing the floral design to remain consistent throughout.

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bouquet, echoing the same floral selections to maintain a cohesive, elegant look across the bridal party. The flower girls held sweet little posey bouquets. Every detail was considered, down to the custom pucks that held the blooms in place and the ribbons that trailed gently from the sides.

Personal flowers for the rest of the wedding party were kept classic and refined. Boutonnières were designed for William, the groomsmen, fathers, ushers, and ring bearers, each one wrapped in ribbon and styled with petite blooms that subtly coordinated with the main florals. For the mothers and grandmother, we created simple ribbon-tied corsages that were easy to wear and beautifully understated.

The ceremony at St. Anthony Chapel was filled with soft, welcoming floral accents. Guests were greeted with a floral arrangement at the welcome sign, styled in a natural, meadow-inspired shape. Along the aisle, floral markers were added to the first several rows, creating a gentle transition into the ceremony space. At the altar, two grounded floral meadows framed Megan and William as they exchanged vows, built with layers of hydrangea, snapdragon, stock, and roses. The goal was to create presence without distraction, something full and romantic, but still appropriate for the chapel’s architecture.

At the reception, held at The Blue Magnolia, the floral design shifted into a more layered and candlelit look. Most guest tables featured trios of bud vases surrounded by white taper candles in glass holders, with just a touch of soft greenery at the base to tie it all together. Elevated arrangements were used to add height and movement throughout the space, featuring peonies, larkspur, delphinium, garden roses, and stock in airy compositions. These were placed on select tables, including those reserved for Megan and William’s families, and then scattered evenly around the room.

Several of the longer tables were styled with baby’s breath runners, intentionally kept light and open for an ethereal feel. Loose stems were tucked in throughout to create softness and movement, and taper candles lined both sides for a warm, glowing finish.

For the grand exit, soft toss petals were provided for all 200 guests, packed and delivered in bulk, ready to be assembled by the planning team into individual cups. It was a joyful, celebratory end to a beautifully designed day.

Megan and William’s wedding was a wonderful example of how a clear floral vision, paired with thoughtful styling, can bring softness, beauty, and cohesion to every part of a wedding day. It was a joy to be part of such a meaningful celebration.
